What We Offer:

. Support Groups & Counseling We organize support groups where individuals affected by edema and lymphedema — along with their families — can connect, share experiences, and find emotional strength. Professional counseling is also available to help patients and caregivers manage the psychological and social impacts of chronic swelling conditions.

. Community Awareness Drives Raising public awareness is essential to early detection and proper care. Our team conducts outreach activities in schools, communities, and local healthcare centers to educate both the public and healthcare providers about the causes, risks, and management of edema and lymphedema.

. Workshops & Training We provide specialized training sessions for medical professionals to enhance their understanding of lymphedema care. Through workshops, we equip nurses, clinical officers, and community health workers with the skills needed to diagnose, manage, and support patients more effectively.

we are committed to making affordable, high-quality, and locally produced compression supplies accessible to all who need them. Our goal is to support long-term care by providing the right tools and educating patients on their proper use and maintenance.

What We Offer:

. Locally Sourced Bandages and Foam Paddings We work with trusted local manufacturers to produce compression bandages, foam paddings, and related supplies. By sourcing locally, we ensure products are affordable, sustainable, and adapted to the needs of our communities.

. Guidance on Proper Use and Maintenance Having the right supplies is only part of the solution. We provide detailed guidance and demonstrations to patients on how to correctly apply, maintain, and care for their compression materials to maximize their effectiveness and lifespan.

. Partnerships with Clinics for Better Accessibility To reach even more people, we partner with health clinics and hospitals across Uganda. These partnerships ensure that compression supplies are readily available in community healthcare settings, making ongoing therapy more convenient and accessible for patients.

Partnering with the Ministry of Health and Local Institutions We collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health, medical schools, and local healthcare institutions to develop guidelines, integrate lymphedema management into public health strategies, and strengthen service delivery at all levels.

. Lobbying for Insurance Coverage We actively advocate for the inclusion of lymphedema diagnosis, treatment, and management in national health insurance schemes. Our goal is to reduce the financial burden on patients and make essential care affordable and accessible.

Educating Policymakers on the Impact of Lymphedema Through organized forums, briefings, and community engagement activities, we educate key decision-makers about the physical, social, and economic impacts of untreated edema and lymphedema. Raising awareness at the policy level helps drive meaningful legislative and funding decisions.
